Mobidest.com

I use the Nokia Suite 5.1 on my laptop, running Windows 98, and when it is installed startup slows down significantly. Also, sometimes servicelayer.exe, which looks to me like a program acting as a go-between for the Nokia programs and the phone, crashes on a regular basis. I then have to restart if i want to communicate with the phone again. Does anyone know what is causing this, and more importantly how to fix it?
