Hi I'm usng the N7610 also but i dun experience this type of problem mine is working very well, except that the midi cannot be sent it's protected, now i'm trying to find a application for this problem,:angel:

Try to use wav files. they are much louder.

i could be that the contacts to your loudspeaker are dirty... i had the same problem with my nokia3100...

try on the virbrate.it should fix da problem. it is da version problem.try upgrade 2 new version

actually I too have a N7610 , midi's are very low volumed in my phone too
not all of them , actually in Ringing mode , the ring ascends as well, but Nokia Tune which is also a midi , doesn't ascends and remains at the same low volume even if the ringing volume is set to the max.

If it's the version problem , howshould i check my phone's version , and which version you guys telling which dosn't have this low ringing vloume problem , kindly tell me that too, so that i can upgrade:) , Thanks

o.k someone on a different site suggested resetting to factory settings which is a risk to your files you have on your phone. however this did not work on my 7610 the only thing that will make it loud without the ascending is if you turn vibrate off then it should improve this works.

I tried doing the vibrate on and off, but still the ringing volume is too low. You have to be very near to your phone to hear the ringing tones. But one thing which I noticed is that the ring tones (midi) which supplied along with your nokia phone are having enough volume to hear for eg Do-mi-so.mid and nokia tune.mid And because of this low ringing volume I am using only this Do-mi-so.mid as ring tone.

this shows how much better the 6600 is, throw away ur 7610s and join the 6600 band wagon, maybe ull realise wat mistake u have made, on the other hand i really like the 7610s style, 2 fix the ringtones, i fink u need 2 get a qualified specialist that can open up ur fone and see wot the problem is, this happened 2 my 6600 i took it 2 the market person who knew about fones, he sed it just needed a bit of sound boosting so i left it wiv him 4 a few days n i got my tones fixed

Can someone tell me about free sound editor software and how to increase sound using that software. As no one is able to solve this low ringing volume problem in Nok7610 I will have to look into some alternative solution to increase the volume.
