I reformat my nokia 6600 by holding green button on the left side, number 3 on the keypad and the asterisk. I hold on on this 3 buttons at the same time while my phone is off and turn on the phone and waited until the phone show the world formatting.

1.turn off your phone
2.press and hold the green button+ABC (pencil) button+ 3 (def) button
3.press and hold POWER button until your phone turns ON and you see FORMATING... on the screen!
NOTE: You should recharge your battery before doing this
I want to erase all phone memory from flash because I used
*#7370# method and apparently it doesn't erase all memory , I want to get rid of some application that is always running and I tried to close with app manager, and formating the phone, but when I want to play that file (.ogg) it says "General : Already in use" Plz help me what should I do ... I have a Nokia 7610...
I was ussing the *#7370# but the code dosnt delete the all of the files.

When you say that the phone will format.
How much time will it take, and is it safe to do it no need for data cables or anything
no need for datacables or anything to attach.. Of course it is safe 'coz if ur phone have problem like freezing or always have pop-ups, u must reformat ur phone.. If you will format ur phone default settings will restore.. the images stored in ur phone memory will be lost.. also the tones, messages and other documents..

im using the very simple way.. press *#7370# just answer yes & insert the nokia code 12345. it will restart & all is new.
