Formatting your N6600
Hi can anyone tell me what exactly happems when you format ur phone.Dose this mean that all the settings will restored to factory settings and the files and the programes installed by us will be terminated.
And what all the things to be taken care of while formatting the phone.....................like removing the MMC,etc
I have the codes for formatting the phone but I dint know what exactly it dose.So hoping some help from u guys.Bye

yes the phones is restored to factory setting so make sure tah u keep all the data u want in ur pc thro pc suite i.e u take the back of ur phone ...bt man if u willl restore the back make sure u only resotre the files not the whole system as then again ur phone will get corrupt

Also formatting MMC is one thing but if you format your phone then you may as well format your MMC a well because many things installed on your MMC have tiny files on your phone mem too so if you just format your phone and not MMC you may find some apps/games just won't launch anymore.
basically : if you format your phone memory, and then straight after format your mmc it is like u have brand new phone !!!
p.s. formatting looses all memory, remember it is like a BRAND NEW phone: u loose contacts , files, numbers etc.......
