Make some boost on ur Memory Card but this process requires you to have a Card Reader.
here's how you do it..
Make a folder in your Desktop
--> for example "LOVEKONADJ"
========================
- Remove ur Memory Card to ur Mobile and insert it to Card Reader
- Open the correct drive (me?, i open my Memory Card Drive in I:/)
- Click the Edit>Select All then Edit>Cut
Note: Include System Folder (if u cannot see, click Tools>FolderOptions>in the view tab check the View All Files then OK)
- Go to ur Folder which you created.
- Then click Edit>Paste (wait until finish copying)
- After finish Copying, ur Memory Card must be empty.
- Go to your Folder again which you created.
- click Edit>Select All then Edit>Copy
- Go to ur Memory Card Drive and
- click Edit>Paste (wait again until finish copying)
Reminder: Do not Interrupt when copying!
After all the process given, insert ur Memory Card to ur Mobile and observe for changes. Works fine for my N6600 FW 5.27

lovekonadj

i wonder if this helps. wouldn't it be better to format your MMC after copying the files to your pc?
hi... i am suraj.... i have got some softwares for s60... n i need help... can i plz get ur e-mail ? mines surajpai10@yahoo.co.in
pls don ignore.... plz reply to this....
why dont u try it first to find out.. it's your choice anyway.. if you dont like the idea ignore it, no one is forcing you to do it anyway.. doing this makes ur files be compressed more in other way so ur mmc can read faster.. copy it to ur pc and try to format ur memory card and lets see what happen.. :mlol:
i've tried it (with formatting) and it seems to be just a little bit faster. more important, the mp3 player works a little better now. the track lengths seem to be in order again. still, i think the same results could be reached if i'd just reinstall my phone, although this is faster.
if you gonna reformat ur phone, some of ur installed apps on ur mmc will not work.. i've tried it before but what i do is test all my apps if it works properly and almost 30% of them didnt work.. regards
yes, i understand, but it's not exactly what i meant. from time to time i like to format my phone and mmc. it really speeds up your phone. if you don't have time to do a full reinstall, this is a nice solution.
nah mate...
it did not make ne difference to my mmc space...
its simply coz i use card reader all da time..
thnx neways,
adijo.
well, did i said that it will have difference in ur mmc space?
im talking about the mmc speed.. regards
eversince i did the above trick, my n-gage doesn't work anymore after i've used the MMC (listened to music for example). i need to reboot the phone before it can access my MMC again. weird.
free up u'r mmc space
u need a card reader or data cable or anything than can make u'r mmc become a hard drive in u'r pc
than
1. connect card reader to u'r pc. back up any data(if u stll need them)
2. run control panel>administrative tool>computer management>disk managemen
3. right click on u'r mmc harddisk >format>allocation unit size
(make sure u select FAT in "file sytem" tab, for 256 MMC, smallest block u can use is 4k, 128 is 2k, 64 is 1k, and 32 MB is 512b
4.wait till format complete
5. back up u'r data(dont reformat u'r mmc again on the fone)
6. forgive me for my bad english
